I was looking at a picture someone sent me today. It seemed to show a Lionel Lines SP type caboose (I couldn't make out the number) that appeared to be a light blue color. Has anyone seen anything like that before? I'm working on seeing it in person to confirm the number and that it isn't a repaint of some sort but it sure looked odd. I would call the color almost a Robin's Egg blue, not like any blue I've seen on other SP type cabooses.

Correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't there a lionel boys set made with a blue caboose ?
Lionel made quite a few different SP cabeese painted blue, B&M, Navy, Marines, likely many more.

Thanks for the replies. The SP caboose appeared to be a powder blue, similar in color to the Girl's set porthole caboose color. However, after getting updated and better quality pictures, it turned out to actually be gray, so it is a Lionel Lines 6017-85 SP type caboose. Still rather hard to find but certainly not worth what it would have been worth if factory painted in light blue.
