Guys just got a used lionel lionmaster sp cab forward.
NO chuff, whistle,bell, crew talk, backup rear light.
Engines goes forward and reverse ok.this engine has oddyssey and it works ok. Smoke unit works and shuts on and off with remote. Front headlight turns on and off also with remote. Tender makes sound and volume pot works to ajust volume.cab2 Remote volume buttons have know affect in raising and lowering sounds.
I Tryed these troubleshooting tips but still baffled as to the items not working.
Here is list of what I checked/ tryed
Reprogramed engines cab id#
Reprogramed engines features with reset code 74 per manual.
Took off both engine and tender shells
Looked for lose boards found none.
Checked all boards for fried or burnt items and found none.
All boards looked new.
Reseated all boards and tryed another features reset again.
Checked for pinched or lose wires, found none.
Checked IR teather aligment and it is lined up and ok.
Made sure legacy remote was set up for tmcc,steam and rs5 when entering engine info.
Tryed both my cab1 and cab2.
What am I missing in troubleshooting this engine?
What do you think is the problem with this engine?
