Could I fit a Lionel 225e shell onto a 726 chassis? I probably already know the answer but it's still worth it to ask. (Wanting to make Canadian National 3254)
If you have two 225 shells you could make a longer shell. The postwar K4 was a modification of the 225 shell and much more common. You could use a 225 front and a K4 rear after removing the Belpaire firebox.

Well Roy, CN 3254 doesn't have a Belpaire firebox, or are you saying that I take the cab of a 2025 or a 675 and put it on the body of a 225e?
I was saying to use the 225 for the front and the 675/2025 for the rear. That's if you only want one joint in the boiler. If you can make two joints work, the 225 can be the front and the rear, while the 675/2025 can be the middle.
