Lionel O: 6-18389 Milwaukee Road E 1 Bi-Polar Recommendations

I have an opportunity to pick up the Lionel Milwaukee Bi-Polar. However, I have never seen this model in operation. It is from a club member of a very close friend of mine, out of state, so I am unable to see it perform.

Wonder if those that have one, what your thoughts and recommendations are about this and if there are any issues I need to be aware of.
