Lionel oil pump 6-34162 | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I just purchased a NIB Lionel oil pump on Ebay and upon opening everthing appeared new.. After wiring it up and running it , it seems to make a clicking noise and slows almost to a stop when the counter weights were at the bottom of their cycle. There's no screws to open the bottom so not sure if it can be serviced. Your thoughts
