i didn't order much out of the signature catalog but saw this and thought what the heck. Like all of the items I have ordered from the Holiday Memories catalog this was a pleasant surprise. Initial thoughts are very well made and very cool. It is made in the UK by AE Williams. Not sure if they are a great watch maker but it looks pretty nice and they seem to be highly rated.  I have not wound it yet.

A a nice little gem.

VERY NICE - THANKS for sharing! I plan to get one.

I have a nice Swiss-made Aster/Fulgurex wind-up pocket watch from about 1996. It has a 17 jewel movement with a separate sweep second hand. I keep it under a glass dome display stand.

Unfortunately, the back on my watch must be removed to reveal the beautiful movement.  It does have a nice relief engraving of a Swiss steam loco on the back cover, and an inscription "veritable montre chemin-de-fer"on the front case, which translates from the French as "genuine railroad watch".
