Which one is that? What does it include? It's hard to look up.
Anywhere from 600 to 700 is a fair price.
I got mine from Trainz's website several months ago for 490.00!!!!!!!! Still sealed!!
Someone must of made a mistake on their website, but I snapped it up quick.
I have all the PWC sets..this one and the Majestic GG1 Freights are my favs!
Good Luck! You wont be dissapointed!
OK- I looked it up. That is the best PWC set in my opinion. The Hudson is the bomb and all the cars are great. I highly recommend this set. I paid $ 900 for mine when it first came out. I consider that a bargain.

You got a good deal. Enjoy!
There's a thread around here on the 1964 773 with quite a bit of discussion concerning running characteristics. How does this PWC Hudson run? Do you have other Hudsons for comparison?

What Year was this set available from Lionel? IS it in any catalog?
For those who aren't familiar with this set here's the link to the Lionel product page.
The Hudson is bare bones, but I like that. Elegant simplicity. Runs like a dream. It has a wireless tether and other goodies. The sound system is Railsounds 5.0 and Blows Away Legacy Hudson sounds in my opinion. The whistle is very deep throated and strong, not high and wimpy. The steam sounds are great. It rocks- plain and simple. Really cool set.
Mine Runs Super Smooth and the Railsounds are top Notch! I had to turn the volume down a little because it was loud! Wish the Berkshire set sounded this good!

It's scale-sized, yet Toy Train at its best following a long line of Hudsons starting with the 763 Prewar continuing with the 1950 773, 1964 773, MPC 783 & 784, and including the 785 "50th Anniversary" model.
Scale sized including the big 700T tender!
