I am looking for a radioactive waste car with the blinking containers on the flat car.

There is a post-war version (6-6805) and at least two modern versions (6-9389 vs 6-9234).

Any recommendations on which one to seek out?

It's all a matter of taste, but since I am a postwar fan the originals are the best to me. I do not have an original version of this car, but a postwar celebration version that looks almost identical to the original. The only differences I found were the small "pw" printed on the car and I believe the blinking bulbs are different on this car than on the original. I ended up changing the bulbs and sockets to the postwar bulb type setup.

I've got one of these stashed away somewhere. And if I'm not mistaken I think it came with the old Royal Limited Set from the MPC era. The standard red with off-white containers.
