Hello all

I just got a Lionel set for a Xmas layout and naturally, there are broken parts on the train right out of the box.

So to get the replacements for it, can anyone give me the number to call, or the contact person, or direct me to or about as to how if there is some other way or process by which to get the parts?

Thanks for any help.

If this is a new set it should be covered under warranty. Contact info, click on link below.

If possible, you may want to try exchanging it at the place of purchase first. In the case of a set this will be faster and easier.

Otherwise Bills link will get you to Lionel direct to have the problems resolved. Their customers service is very good, they will take care of it.

I'd recommend contacting them via email with the "service/repair question" link

Thanks for the help guys

Yeah, the part I'm looking for is one of the bumpers for the engine that comes with the new Victorian Christmas set. Basically the base is still there glued in, but the round front silver part is missing...wasn't even in the box.

Anyway, via the info provided, I eventually got to their parts section an while this part is not listed yet for that kit, basically the train is just a revamp of the Hogwarts engine, an it is listed there.

Is only .80 for the part but I think I will go the route you have recommended as should be the way.

Only part that might be hard is the base seems pretty glued in, so might be fun getting it out.

Yeah, could send the whole kit back, but I've bought enough train stuff to know that it isn't rare at all that something is wrong with what ever you seem to buy in this hobby, an so could just as easily have something wrong with another kit, an then is closer to Xmas.

So far everything else with the kits it pretty much OK, (a few crooked things, but see above) but all in all I think I will just get the part.

Thanks again for all the help guys.
