Lionel RS-11 front headlight

When running my Lionel RS-11 the start-up and running features are fine however, after a certain amount of time (3o minutes?) the front headlight and marker lights turn off yet the rear headlight and markers lights function when put in reverse. Any thoughts?

Your marker lights and headlights are mounted on a small PCB with a white Leoco connection. Pull the plug that goes into the PCB and put it back in again and you should be OK. I have run into that problem you have.
