Scale and SemiScale terminology

Prewar 700e has lots of detail, so it's scale.

Prewar 763e has minimal detail, so it's semiscale.

Modern 700e (18005, 28062) has lots of detail, so it's scale

Modern 763e (18056) has lots of detail, so it's...scale, uh...semiscale...huh...major discrepancy in terminology.

I would think the CC 763 (18058) would be an off shoot of the 1950 773. I thought it did not have the detail found on the 700E -1 and the 18056 Hudson with the Vandy Tender.

There are 3 J-1e pullmor engines with full detail, 18005/18056/28062.

There are 4 J-1e pullmor engines with moderate amount of detail, 18058/18062/38015/38096.

There are 3 J-1e pullmor engines with minimal detail, 8406/8606/18002.

The 18058 actually had some details that were on the 1-700E and 18056 that were also absent on the original 773. The solid metal stanchions replaced the cotter pin type, and the boiler front had the "smile" handrail.
