Lionel SD 70ace parts | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

purchased a used Lionel Conrail SD 70ace Heritage (#1209) and it is missing one of the little blue plastic hinges that attach to the front that holds the door on. Lionel will only sell the entire she'll to get that tiny part. Anyone have an old shell or better idea on how to get that one part without spending $225? Thank you!

I wouldn't worry too much- either you can make one of your own from light wire, or just glue the door shut-- either way would be easy to do..
