It's based off the postwar Santa Fe baby hudson tooling I believe, so it's similar to a postwar 2055 shell
If this is the loco I think that it is, it is not actually "based" on the PW 2055/Santa Fe
Hudson tooling (my childhood loco was the 2055 - still have it), but is rather an all-new interpretation of the Santa Fe 3460-class Hudson (even though it is a Pacific). I have one even though I'm "scale" because of my 2055 connection and Santa Fe steam interest. These are well-executed semi-scale pieces; husky, like their PW ancestors.
MTH made a 1/4" scale model of the 3460-class. BIG Hudson.
