Lionel Warehouse Sale! November 7-9

I am looking forward to this.  At the last club sale I went to a seminar and a lot of stuff was already getting put up when we got out.

I guess I did.  The fact that it's 3 pages back doesn't help.

Probably busy solving Legacy problems for folks like me to lazy to use other resources!  HA!  Wondering if there might be a post sale dining experience.

I have been busy building the demo up for the LUG meeting.  I was also out of town a couple of days hanging with the WWE Divas.  So needless to say the forum wasn't a priority.

LOL, how much did you have to pay them to allow you to hang with them?  

Even ate lunch with them John.  Somebody had to do it.

Ahh... such sacrifices.  Some jobs are pure drudgery. 

Has anyone ever traveled from Pittsburgh to the new location?  I went to the old site in Ohio a couple of times, but it was only a little over an hour's drive.  Got some great bargains there.  Same bargains down at the new place?  Looks like it might be an eight hour drive.  Would it be worth it?

It would be about 34 hour drive for me at 2,395 miles...  Think you have a better shot at it.  

Sat is open to public, go in parking lot, and the door to the sale warehouse is around

the back.

Guess I am luckier than most depending upon how you look at it, only a 15 mile drive from home or half that from my son's school.  Probably lucky really, as this only happens twice a year (November Warehouse and March/April Open House) as opposed to having one of the forum sponsors nearby, then I'd really be broke.

I could fly in Friday, rent a car, spend night and fly out Saturday afternoon for less than $400, but then I would probably have to ship home all the goodies I would buy.....Hmmmm

Hmm...  I wish it were a bit closer.   580 miles one way ends up costing almost $200 in gas and chews up two days, one each way, not to mention lodging, etc. 

You guys that are close are lucky.

I have been to several of these. I have a customer in Charlotte and it is about 3 hours for me. The way I drive that's relatively close. My only problem with this event is that it is on the same credit card bill as my York, Atlanta (business trip) trips this month. I also have a problem limiting my purchases when I go to these things.
