50% OFF Parts Sale: September 24th – 26th : Lionel Customer Service is offering 50% off parts orders during the weekend of Friday, September 24th, 2021 (12:01 a.m. ET) through Sunday, September 26th, 2021 (11:59 p.m ET).
Thanks MartyE
Have not ordered anything before, call in or online please?
c.sam, I have ordered in the past online and the discount was applied. Unsure about phone: MartyE can you comment? Thank
What Pete said. Unless it specifically says "Must Call Lionel" when you call the part up on the computer then it can be done all online.
Just as a point, you will most likely NOT get an email confirmation. If I were you before you order, sign up for "My Lionel". Then when you order the parts make sure you are logged in. You will then be able to track your parts order and have a record of all past orders for next year.
One thing that really bugs me about the 50% parts sale is that "Must call Lionel" next to the part. Trying getting a hold of somebody on that Friday.
Lionel Please have the phones properly staffed that weekend. With the warehouse sale not happening you should have plenty of associates around.

You should call them and tell them that.

Last years part sale I was on hold four times over two hours and was kicked off four times without talking to a person. Bruk will be upgrading another engine for me soon and I hoping I don't have to call for any of the parts. Wish, Lionel would take the time to allow all parts to be purchase online.

Lionel wants to make sure the parts are available to them during the warranty period. After that they are up for grabs. At least thats how it used to work. Now they don’t even show parts for new releases.

What Marty said. It is advantageous and easier to order online.

Lots of older parts, from products long out of warranty that still say "Contact Lionel". No one is going in the website and cleaning it up. Kind of like parts list for new products not getting up loaded to the website. Lionel is a barebones operation when I comes to service, they are not putting money into a good customer experience.
Good example. NYC light Mikado 2017 release 6-84468 sku. Draw bar still listed as "Must Contact Lionel to order" Why???? Try doing it that Friday during the 50% off sale. All I can say is Good Luck and you'll be buying it at full price Monday after the sale if you can get a hold of anyone.
Could you call them like the week before and get all the information and not order it till the sale?

I’m sure you could...depending on who you get on the phone

That’s just cruel. Lol.
That is a good one, Rick
