i just unboxed my lionmaster big boy #4006. 6-11149 after having it sit for some many years

after setting up

and giving its first time run I notice two things after I  shut it down

1. The lights stay on.  ( headlight, makers, number board, rear tender lights)

are they suppose to stay on ??

2.    I hear a kind of hum from the tender ...is that normal for this engine ?

I am running it with the legacy cab2

if anyone has one of this same engine i would appreciate knowing if this is normal for this engine I only have one other legacy engine and when I shut that one down all the lights go off so I’m just curious about this engine what it does when shut down..

Thanks....

That's all normal for a first Gen legacy loco.

There is no idle smoke with this model either. The smoke unit fan may still run even when the smoke unit is off. Normal as well

I'm guessing your other model is a few years newer. Lights off during shutdown is  a 2011 and later feature if my memory serves me correctly.
