Hah!  Just saw the real deal when leaving Heavener, OK with our dirt bikes in tow just this past Saturday.  Saw both the Southern Belle schemes, and the gray schemes.  Also saw their rebuilt SD40-2's in Southern Belle.  PLUS, one of the KCS trains that my train interchanges with often, had a rebuilt 38-2 in the Southern Belle scheme in its consist.

That colorful Southern Belle scheme is quite a change from the decades of seeing gray units.  (Used to be white before the gray took over.)

Mike, I am not sure if you are referring to the issue that I had posted on another thread about rolling and or peeling the traction tires. If so we may be dealing with a problem of insufficient amperage on the track while running multiple engines in a consist. This is something suggested by Lionel, we will be trying some of the newer power supplies.

I think it was an issue of the wheels not touch the track?

I was not with the group when the new power supply was put in service but I was informed that six of the SD70s were run in a consist and the problem was apparently eliminated.
