Looking at getting into O-Gauge Tinplate Trains

I just sent a e-mail to forum member Dave Allen, THE O GAUGE GUY - Australia's O Gauge Train Specialist about getting into TINPLATE TRAINS.  I saw the line of DARSTAED TRAINS that they carry and I have heard that the Darstaed Trains have a rich history of producing highly collectable tinplate trains in "O" Gauge.  I've been into 3rd Rail O Gauge for years and know I want to enjoy running O Gauge TINPLATE model trains.  Please share any and all information that you have concerning the different manufacturers, any pros & cons, etc., etc. so that I can really enjoy this part of the Hobby.  Thank you to everyone.  Posting a photo of a DARSTAED 2-6-2 LMS Steam Locomotive that I really, really, really love.

I can understand why you would love these type of tinplate trains. Both Darstaed and ACE trains produce beautiful tinplate so I purchased these two sets a couple months ago. The quality is very nice. The Darstaed Pullman coaches are unbelievable, with table lamps that light up. I know this is not the for sale section but I thought I would mention to you that I am selling these two sets due to I just got into Standard gauge. Email me if you want additional info.
