I would contact Norm's O Scale Trains. I was with him at a show this weekend and he had lots of reservations pending.
If you are looking for a specific item, please contact Jerry Kimble (jkimble@atlaso.com or (908) 687-0880 x 7118) and he will help try to locate it for you.
Norm's is a good choice after calling Atlas. He listed the new Zephyr baggage car on his website as all reserved, but I phoned, he said he got a 100 in, and my car arrived at my home just a few days later. Norm is tops for service!

They show a few 2-rail As and Bs left.

Good question, and it seems to be anyone's guess. I'm planning on mid-2016.
Atlas-O's shipping schedule says 4Q2016, but I think that window closed months ago. Think about it... Today is Dec 10. The last container shipment listed on the current Atlas shipping schedule hit the water on Nov 22, and the F7's weren't on that boat. Given year-end holidays, New Years and what-not, Atlas-O will probably ship the stuff in that Nov 22 container to dealers around mid- to late-January. So it could be late-January / early-February at the earliest before consumers receive those products. That's just the way it is these days.
At York, one dealer told me to expect the F7's around June. So that's what I'm thinking. I could be convinced otherwise if we heard definitive word that the F7's were coming off the factory assembly line NOW, or if they're in a shipment that leaves China this month yet. But we're not hearing that. So until we hear something more definitive, the mid-2016 timeframe sounds more reasonable for now.

I got a pair of the Sunset 3rd Rail F7s about a month ago, and I am very very pleased with them. The QSI Titan Sound is great in my opinion. They run very well and are well detailed. I got the PRR version and they have the proper PRR pilot (like a passenger pilot), the antennas, and the nose lift rings that are obvious on PRR units.
Also they have a single motor drive which I prefer very strongly over 2 motor drives.
Sunset may still have some in stock.

Do you have any "B" units in your order?
By the way...where is the "quote" icon on the tool bar? I can't find it.

They hid it - thank God - now we do not have to endure endlessly repeated entire posts, with a note at the bottom saying "thank you". It is, apparently, still there somewhere.

See? I shall not reveal how I did that.
Yes, but it also allows a poster to cut and paste an important line or two from the original post. I can't be held accountable for (expletive deleted in order to be politically correct ) posters who quote the entire thread or message.
I'll have to give you the secret handshake on the other forum and maybe you will reveal your secrets.

Back to subject, no I did not have any B units in my order, just two A units.
I checked the Sunset 3rd Rail website and they still have some 2 rail units left. They also have a bunch of 3 rail units left.

Don't worry Bob. It's just a matter of time before everyone finds out where it is.
Rocky Mountaineer,
Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my question. I really appreciate it. I am happy that these locomotives will not be out this year. By the time they come out I will have 90% of the money to pay for them.
Mr Muffin says the Tman RS-3 [4Q15] is the next motive power from Atlas leaving the F7s as the last 4Q15 scheduled delivery, 1Q16 lists the TmanRSD7/15 and the often announced but never produced GE-8CW, time will tell if Atlas is finally back on track for motive power deliveries.

I can't stand the suspense . . . I'll tell . . . OK?
With your left hand hold down the Caps Lock, the Ctrl key, the Tab key and the Backspace key. At the same time, press with your right hand, The Insert key and F1.
Enter your post under the Quote, hit Post Reply and then make a doctor's appointment to get your fingers seen to.

I only asked because no one has commented here yet, but the new SS/GGD "B" units are all incredibly wrong. All F3 and F7 "B" units, to my knowledge, have peaked (pointed) roof overhangs on both ends. The F7's lost this feature on the "A" units, but the "F7B" retained it like the early F3 "A" units. The new SS/GGD F7B's has one peaked end and one flat end. I guess the builder didn't know which was correct so we got one of each. QC must have been asleep.
