Taking one more crack at this. Anyone have some photos of this engine? Thanks
No sorry, but I have the NYC and it's a keeper. The engine sound is not very loud but you can hear it.
Just buy it, I doubt you'll be unhappy with the purchase.
I don't have pictures, but I saw the Great Northern GP-30 at a WBB booth at a show in January. The engine itself looked fine for the money, but the colors were very washed out. The orange looks like tomato soup. You can sort of see it in the catalog picture, and, if anything, it looks worse in person. If correct color matters to you, you probably should look elsewhere.
They had the UP version there as well, and the yellow was washed out on that also, though perhaps not as bad as the Gt. Northern. I like reasonably correct colors, and based on what I saw, I don't think I'd get this engine unless it was in black.
I've posted a couple of pics of my GP30 in ACL livery in the weekend Photo thread, they are a great loco for the money.
Search again because there were already photos posted.

That sure looks like an SD45 to me!
Also, please remember that there is NO "-" in the model designation, i.e. it should be "GP30" and NOT "GP-30".
