I have a Mth diesel in my project queue that will get a ps2 3v board set from a steamer (tender mounted board). Id like to get the wiring, and tach sensor mount from a ps2 diesel upgrade kit to simplify the install. The chassis has ps1 coil couplers and the shell has ps2 3v lights already pre installed.

if anyone has the remains of a ps2 diesel upgrade kit where maybe they just used the boards to fix a loco and nothing else let me know.

thanks and stay safe!

Thank you both for the heads up. I am building this from parts. The shell is already ps2 3v with the proper bulbs and wiring from the factory. Chassis is ps1. I think I have 2 ps2 3v couplers I can swap in.

With no luck on the cables so far, I am considering taking the steam tether, cutting off the loco plug and removing the rubber to fan out the individual wires then ring them out and connect to motors, tach, lights etc. any reason to to other than risk of nicking a wire removing the big sheath?
