I have a 1666E motor assembly with loose intermediary gear studs. Anybody have tips on how to tighten them up?

Don't know for that motor specifically but generally if you can't get to them from the other side drill a hole in the opposite side of the frame through which to insert your punch and tighten them up.

Drilling a clearance hole through the opposite side plate to allow access is not feasible on this particular motor. The field laminations are in the way.

I was hoping to avoid having to seperate the motor sides, but it looks like its the only way to get the job done properly.
