I was looking for any updates on my Atlas Santa Fe F7's on their web site last night and discovered all engines have been pushed back again. Anybody hear any updates on the Santa Fe's? or other F7's not shipped to dealers yet. I did get a set of Rio Grande's but they are held up waiting on the Santa Fe's for shipment. I am thinking of just calling my dealer and shipping those out. I have had my 3 sets paid off since December 2015 (1 Rio Grande and 2 SF).
Not sure what that does for the new engines just cataloged. I was thinking about a SF VO-1000.
The new dates listed are:
F3's- 4th quarter 2017, GP9's-4th quarter 2017, Trainman Dash8-40CW-3rd quarter 2017 (All items I have on order). For other folks who ordered Master Dash 8/40B's 1st quarter 2018, MP15's and SW swithchers 2nd quarter 2018, Sd40 fans even farther out 3rd quarter 2018.
Must be some real problems with the current factory or current runs of F7's (other than SF shells). Not a word out of Atlas in a month or so. I am not mad as now I will get to pay off my 3rd rail and Lionel orders sooner. I am not going to cancel either I know that if and when they show up they will be nice like most everything else they produce.
I just want a little info on the F7's and trying to inform forum members of the date changes. Unfortunately I know everybody here will start moaning and griping.
