This is a question related to an answer you provided a few weeks ago on my posting "Willliams Hand Rail removal".

You mentioned that you removed the hand rails on a Lionel Geep by cutting them off horizontally. What did you use to cut the hand rails?

The Williams rails appear to be stamped steel. Did you use a dremal wheel (type) or some sort of saw? I want to make as clean a cut possible.

Sorry to have to contact you this way, but I know of no other method of contact.

Thank you for your response.

Thanks Lucas...nice looking job. I wasn't sure what to use on the stamped steel. I will have to cut out each section verticle to save as much of the stanchion's height. Williams stanchions are already 1/8" shorter than MTH and Lionel.

I apoligize for contacting this way...I didn't notice the "extended profile" option on the right side of the profile page; other wise I would have contacted via email.
