How do you deal with the heat and light of the 18V bulb? Is there a way to reduce either?
They do seem to have helped the signal, along with charged batteries.
I’ll probably get Susan Deet’s filter eventually if that’s the right move.

Yes, the filter is better.
My lights hung under my table so they didn't heat anything. It was a waste. I had planned to see if I could use them for signal lighting purposes.
I swapped to filters as a test and got the same signal test results as the bulbs. The bulbs I used drew more power. I don't think the filter draws much if anything?
