Coal pile for Mill Powerhouse.
Carved styrofoam "pile", lathered with white glue and sprinkled with real coal. Then add second helping of coal and lightly dribble 50/50 white glue/wet water all over and let dry.
Move coal pile to Powerhouse and search for coal connveyor 
to place between pile and N&W hopper. Then scatter coal to create a groundscape mess.

Hi Dewey, very cool idea. A coal pile is something we all have to do from time to time. I like your idea because it can be made removable so as to be used to hide a screw head or something like that may need to be accessed.

Nice job! I'm thinking that you could do the same for gravel, ballast, sand or any other pile of whatever that you would find either in an industrial area or train yard.

I got the coal several years ago from Dennis Brennan of Brenan's Better Ballast. Ad in OGR Magazine.
