Brand new NEW HAVEN Alco PA A Unit 20-20847-1 works perfectly in DCS except that marker lights and number boards do not light. The headlight and interior light work properly and can be turned on and off with LIN and Headlight buttons.

I have toggled the LNB and LMK buttons on and off —nothing.

I have done a Factory Reset—nothing.

I have taken the shell off and cannot find any loose connections. (There is a red plug with orange and purple wires that is not connected to anything.)

DCS6.1 connected to ZW4000.

So what do I do now?

There can be extra plugs in engines not used.  So how do these leds get powered.  Through contact pad and springs on shell, or through direct connection?

If direct connection, through a wire harness or a PCB with lots of plugs?

Can be bad solder joint on pcb.  Cut wire that was pinched.  Bad LED.  You can plug the markers and LNB into the HL plug to test LEDs.  If they work, it is wiring most likely.  Worst case bad board.

If new, get it repaired under warranty, or replaced.  G
