Marx tunnel question

The one with the wire retainer is most likely prewar, the screw type are postwar. Mines not handy to photo the wire clip.

I expect I will make two small pieces of metal with two holes to accept some #4 bolts through each hole, forming a kind of two point hinge.  But I am curious as to what this originally looked like.

I think the white tab is supposed to go behind the lithoed stone on the other half on your later tunnel.  Here is the hook on the Camo version of that earlier tunnel. Basically an ornament hook.
