I have two triplex locomotives, the Halloween and the Matt Shay. I've noticed that one problem with the Matt Shay is there is no backup light on the tender and so you can't be sure if it is in reverse ot not. I just noticed today the the Halloween has a backup light. And then I thought, "Oh the Matt Shay was a prototype so it didn't get a light." And I thought to myself if I'de noticed it didn't have a backup light I would have ordered one of the other ones. So I looked at the 2024 V1 catalog and all the Triplex locomotives are pictured with a backup light on the tender including the Matt Shay. I certainly woudn't have put my money into something of this price range if it wasn't everything I wanted and putting a light that doesn't exist on something is false. I'm sure it was a careless oversight and not intentional but just the same Lionel is responcible for their advertising. Therefore I am getting less for my money than I intended. Has anyone else noticed this and have any thoughts about it?

This is my Triplex. The Matt Shay 2603 from the 2024 Big Book. Is yours an MTH?

Quick Look at pictures on internet seems to show 6203 and 5014 (with white wall tires) does not have the backup light. 5014 custom run (black wall tires) from MrMuffins has the backup light. Go figure.
I didn't even realize that getting the custom run would get me another thing I wanted, go figure! I suspect it would be possible to add a backup light, but obviously it'll be some work. The boards in the tender surely support the light I would imagine.
