Golden Spike 150^th Anniversary

I felt that I should do my part, however insignificant, to commemorate today’s 150^th anniversary of this great accomplishment in the history of the United States. Pictured is my MTH Premier model of the re-created Central Pacific Railroad 4-4-0 #60 Jupiter – not exactly to scale but I like it nonetheless.

Our diarama for our Golden Spike party at the Milwaukee Lionel Railroad Club. On the left is an MTH Rail king Jupiter, on the right is a modified Lionel 4-4-0. In the background are MTH Imperial models of both.
