How many home runs can Menards get ? These containers have VERY good graphics (so small you can't read some) great looks and color. They come with 4 extra pins to be used on the K line container if needed. Another great item from our friends at Menards..

Menards has been getting a fair share of my train budget the past 2 years. I love the containers! I always wanted a container freight train without having to spend 20-30 for each little plastic box.
Great looking containers and you cant beat the price for either the single order or the dealer pack! Great job again Mark and Menards!
Thanks again Bob! Hoping they offer more intermodal cars but I can mix and match now! Menards appears to think of everything! LOL
Hopefully, we'll get lots of 20', 40', 45', and 53', containers from Menards. I'll sign on now. Is there a trademark requirement for Menards? I would think that is a cost factor for them. Yes?
Scrappy
Scrappy, and others using mikes and atlas cars....be aware the menards 20' container is 19scale feet long...the other full size container is 38'....they seem to be 027 size to me.
They look great and are priced right.
However, like Jim said they are only 19 scale feet long and will NOT match up size wise with the MTH, Atlas and other 20 footers. A real shame since the height and width are scale sized. If you need a whole bunch for a static display in a yard or port scene these will work nicely. Just don't expect to mix them in with the other manufacturers' products.

I just measured mine and its 4 13/16 long...Maybe the Chinese forgot about the shrink factor and missed it by 9 inches.. LOL..

Bob this is off topic but THANK YOU for taking the time to share these great photos and informative comments with us.
The pins are in there really tight. Have you tried to remove ?

VERY tight !!I felt like a Dentist, pulling them out. I removed all of them and used two sided tape to hold the three containers together
Bob thanks for the shot on the Lionel trailer frame. I was wondering if that would work. Is it sitting between the pins on the trailer frame or is it sitting on one of the pins?

it was just placed there for the photo. I would do a little rework on the trailer sometime to make it look better.. Thanks for asking..
