Thanks to forum member Frank for making a second loco available to me for experimenting. These look fabulous with a Williams B unit stuck in the middle. I tried a Lionel B unit but the colors were much too different.

It will be interesting to see the combinations that Menards offers in the future. If this is the bar they start from, it will be good news for the hobby.
I just bought a Lionel B on line. Hadn't considered that the colors would be off.

Do you gentleman know which frequency these engines/remotes operate on? The old RC cars operated on 27mhz, but you see a lot of stuff now that is 2.4GHz.
Toy cars used 27MHZ, 49MHZ and 72MHZ. Wi-Fi and bluetooth are 2.4 GHZ. Although not certain, Menard's new loco is most likely 900MHZ.
