Hey all! I got pretty lucky with my Menards Mystery Box. I got three die cast cars, but they didn’t have boxes, so they came with a few scratches. I got four freight cars, all had unattached axels, but that’s an easy fix. Some also had missing details. The crown jewel of this however is the Mustang Sally’s Auto shop! It’s in perfect condition, and looks so cool. I’ll talk about this in a video on my YouTube Channel that should be up on Sunday. Thank you Menards!

They show them on their website but they also say they're not available online (right now, as Mike points out below). Apparently only available in stores at this time.

Hi Redrockbill, to correct you, they do sale them on line, just not all the time. I live in Washington State with no Menards and have bought 2. I don't see them on line right now, but I believe they are $99.00, they come with a building, some rail cars, other stuff. some of it is prototypes, or scratch and dent stuff. That's why you get a great deal for a small amount! Thanks Menards!

Thanks for the correction Mike! That means I can keep looking for them as, like you, I live in a Menard's-free state. Nearest store to me is 150 miles away in Wichita.

Keep looking as I do also! Can't beat that deal!
When they do become available they sell out pretty fast too! If you see them in stock place your order, don't wait. That is if you want one.
Mystery box sales show up online intermittently. They are truly online specials and never sold in stores. Menards’ website has a kind of glitch that doesn’t take into account online-only items that are sold out and sometimes inaccurately leads to the conclusion that the items are available in stores.
Menard doesn't box their rr freight cars ?

From what I've seen, they usually retail them in plastic clam shell packaging. Sounds like the ones in this box weren't even in that packaging...
The no box cars were the Die Cast autos, not the freight cars, which you can see are in the clamshell packing.
Remember, the mystery box is basically scratch and dent, returns, and old inventory.
Max scored a good one since this had a perfect Mustang Sally's in it, which sells for $99 on it's own.
