DSCN2523

Gentlemen,

Hope all is well with OGR family, things here have been hectic for sure.  I have been recovering from open heart surgery and have done very little posting on any of the forums including the OGR.  Will try to participate more, especially around Christmas time.

Keep them on the rails gentlemen!

VERY GLAD you made it through your procedure!  ☺ A few weeks ago, I went in for a routine angiogram and a stent placement. Instead of an overnight stay, I had a retro peritoneal bleed from the femoral artery with resulting severe morphine-level pain from the extensive hematomas! Emergency vascular surgery and an ICU stay plus three units of blood kept me in the hospital for nine days. I would not wish this complication on anyone. I am still recovering from the vascular surgery. Apparently, one too many punctures in the same femoral artery! 😐

Hi Dave, I hope you have a quick recovery and are back again to your super hobby of collecting and operating trains.  I want to thank you for all of the nice things you have said about me on various transformer posts about my work repairing and restoring transformers.

Here’s to a Very Merry Christmas for you and your family and I hope 2020 is a great year for you and you continue on the road to a complete recovery.

Jim

DSCN2523Gentlemen,

It's good to be back, I am unable to due any more work on the Train Room at this point, just have to be satisfied with keeping my trains on the tracks and talking with all you great people.  When ever I get the living room tree decorated and the small layout completed under the tree, I will post some pictures of the living room Christmas layout.

Merry Christmas to all!  Have a fantastic OGR Christmas.

PCRR/Dave

Have a Very Merry Christmans Dave !

So great to see you back and hopefully on the road to a full recovery !

I hope you 'Muricans and northern Hemisphere types are enjoying a nice cool time ...

Here it is approaching 47 degrees C ( 117F) and we are praying our houses dont burn down ....

Case in point ... My neighbours 400 yards up the road ... a week ago in the prior hot spell to this.

We are copping it hard at the moment here in Australia , with a lot of the eastern seaboard north of Sydney alight ... as well as many other areas

Thoughts and prayer go out to all people at this time of year struggling for whatever reason ... hug your loved ones and create a memory and be thankful for all we have ...
