I love the look of the Pullman gallery cars, very clean and sleek before their years. I like that the Alstom cars are similar but updated. Not a fan of the Bombardier trapezoids that are so popular now.

Great info. They remind of the single level Amtrak cars made in the Metra name by MTH. This gives more credibility to my fantasy set. Perhaps if an alternative version of MTH arises from the ashes, they could make these. Would love to see it.

Wonder how well the METRA Engineers are going to like how much lower their operating cab is, as compared to the nice high level position on the current cab-cars. Just takes one vehicle grade-crossing collision to potentially seriously injure the Engineer, sitting in that lower seat.
