Midweek Photos is off to a later start than usual, so thank you for waiting.
Some photos of a recent walk around Steamtown in Scranton. This is Big Boy 4012 on display along the entrance road.
Baldwin Locomotive Works 0-6-0 is still coming along. Steam chest work and valve timing are the most recent bits of work taking the time and attention of the workers.
Atlantic Coast Line SW1 number 1901 in a Lehigh Valley inspired color from when she worked on a short line near Towanda, PA.
Restoration and replacement work on the South Washington Ave boundary of the park is nearing completion. The fence painting is the final touch to the gatepost replacement and wall resurfacing.
Next up is re-pointing the brick on the former Office and Storage building. Scaffolding is going in place for the masonry work.
Even the weeds and trees along the perimeter of the park are looking nice for fall.
That's all I have to offer this week. Please feel free to add some of the rail scene as you see it to this thread. Have a great week!
