Mississippi Coast Rail Fest, Nov 13, 14 - 2021, Gulfport, MS

The 2nd annual Mississippi Coast Rail Fest is being held on Nov 13, 14, 2021 in Gulfport, Mississippi.  It will have model railroad layouts operating and vendors and individuals selling model trains.  The site also has the Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum which is included in the admission fee.

TCA Lone Star Division endorses this meet as their Nov 6, 2021 Model and Toy Train show was cancelled as the1st Baptist Gym in Ponchatoula, LA is being used for Hurricane Ida first response worker housing.  The TCA train shows for fall 2020 and spring of 2021 were cancelled due to Covid 19.  I sure hope Rail Fest stays the second weekend of November as the TCA meet in Ponchatoula is always the first weekend to coincide with Ponchatoula Trade Days, which brings lots of visitors to town.        

This is the time for model train fans in LA, MS, AL and FL to get a chance to go to a train show again.

I will be there Saturday morning, Nov 13 for sure.

With ESPN Game Day in Oxford, this is going to really test my loyalties Saturday-- Trains vs Rebels.

I normally go to Ponchatoula, but backed out at the last minute this year. Glad I didn't make the trek over to Ponchatoula last weekend as I didn't realize the meet was cancelled.

Maybe I'll tape Game Day and see you there Charlie. I'm sure there will be a bargain I can't live without.
