With 26 separate titled forums including one titled "Photo albums", it would appear to me that photography is already covered.

I would vote NO!

Happy railroading,

I prefer the current set up with the weekend photo fun thread and the midweek photo thread in real trains each week.

No more sub forums.

I agree with all of the above! NO more sub-forums. I can't keep up as it is!

While there is a tremendous number of photos posted on this forum,  the quality and format could use a lot of improvement, IMO, but that's the nature of an on-line forum.  Most of us are point and shoot photographers, Eliot has a very good point .  There is a lot to be learned about this part of the hobby.  I believe Eliot's comment is more to: "a how to.... forum " v.s. a "point and shoot" collection of pictures.  Mike CT

I would say no for a for a couple reasons

  1. Photos hosted here versus linked from other site cost Rich a lot of bandwidth. A successful Photo forum could really cost a lot of $$
  2. The photo handling and display abilities of this forum are subpar compared to what is out there.
  3. THere are plenty of services out there like Flickr that make nice photo forums. We could do a nice one there.
  4. There are too many sub-forums already
