Model Train Stations

The classic Lionel Rico station:

My long and narrow layout is such that this location on my layout is the only place I can have such a large station with so big a foot print. Since  I have 3 stations with such a large foot print, I can only have 1 of them on my layout at any given time.

Since I love all 3 of these big stations, my plan is to periodically rotate them.

What is fun to do is to decorate them in a way to make them unique. For this Rico station, I added the sign and figures shown in the photo below.

That little girl is supposed to be my now 33 year old daughter, Maria, who could always really sing. Here I pretend that she is starring in the musical, Annie.

I have another sign I put on my Rico station in honor of my father, which I will hunt for in my smartphone Gallery and post later if I can find it. Arnold

Neat stations, all of them.  Arnold, could it be that the dude wearing the blue suit and red tie might just be the General Manager of a railroad company or rapid transit line?  I have an idea he is waving to his wife who is on her way to join him for lunch......LOL
