More ancient artifacts from a big box o' Standard Gauge Track. Curved Terminal Track.
Any thoughts as to manufacturer and vintage? Pointing-out "raised circular area" where center rail attaches to ties... haven't seen this before.
Will post a few pics of the other similar (but slightly different) section in a reply.
Thanks,
Fran McM

The other section of curved terminal-track from same lot... note irregular placement of nail holes in some ties...
Electrical connectors look the same as previous section: brass tabs with steel clamp, but ties are slightly different.
Make & vintage ?

Any thoughts? Anyone ?
This one is new to me too, Fran.
Perhaps send the pics to the TCA for their "Who Done It?" series, answers are frequently found thereafter
Can't hurt to browse the Toy Train Track Museum. Lots of pictures and information there!
Thanks for the suggestions !
As for the "Toy Track Museum", I figured there had to be someone out there in the world who "cares about old track"...

Hi Carey,
Thanks! Not familiar with “early split-pin track”... got any pictures of such?
Any suggestions as to when my track might’ve been made, or when the “Lock-on” style terminal track came along?
I have three sections of Lionel? SG terminal track ( 2 straight, 1 curved ) with lock-on style fibre terminal boards, but clamped/soldered to the rails, and with binding posts and thumb-nuts...
?
Thanks,
