Just ran my new NHI RMT ore cars this morning.   Unfortunately there’s a problem.  
On 27” and 31” curves when running a single ore car there’s no problem.  But if I couple the two NHI RMT ore cars together the consist won’t clear either radius turn.   I realize the cars are rated for 31” radius but there’s still an issue with that curve on my layout.  
Anyone else having this problem?   The trucks look ok but I’m thinking the car body doesn’t have the clearance.   Perhaps a larger radius curve is needed?   I only have two ore cars but have 4 more being delivered this week.

Are they weighted enough?  I remember someone posting that they had to add weight to their Lionel Ore Cars.  Temporarily drop some weights inside of them to see if it helps.

I'll bet you also want the trucks to go with the tucks.

I know the replacement trucks are in process, but I don't know what the status is, hopefully we'll see them soon.

Lyinel...RMT cars are true O-scale dimensions...so running on 0-27 will have operational concerns like you mentioned. RMT cars are not 'rated' for 0-31 curves and even on the RMT website it suggests 0-36 minimum for all RMT freight cars.

craftech...RMT freight cars are not 'lightweights' like some other manufacturers.  With heavier plastic body and diecast truck sideframes/wheels/couplers...the RMT freight cars have good tracking ability.

But yes the ore car load is removable in case you may want to add extra weight.
