Can anyone advise if the MTH 20-3065-1 Erie Berkshire produced in 2001 has the 5V or the 3V proto sound 2.0 board?

Its a 5 v and uses the 8.4 volt battery take the tender shell off and if the battery is the white replace it
Which replacement battery would you recommend? I have the engine and it is running well.

What's the easiest way of determining if an mth engine has the 5v board or the 3v board?
if it has no charging hole or a round one its a five volt if it is rectangle with a clipped corner its a three volt which came around 2005. i looked up your number and you have the 5 volt and should have a round hole for charging under the tender mikes recommends replacing the white batteries withe there green ones from mth or your local hobby shop.
