MTH 787 30-9119 Operating Log Loader

I am thinking of purchasing the MTH 787 Log Loader accessory. I do not know what the companion MTH rolling stock would be to hold the logs. I already have a Lionel 3461 Log dump car and it is my hope that I could load onto that car. Does anyone know of a reason this wouldn't work? I guess the only issue would be if the drop action of the logs clears the "posts" along the side of the Lionel log car.

Hey Gary, I used the MTH 787 log loader with the 3461 log dump car on my last layout, they worked fine together. The loader had no issues clearing the stakes with the logs.
