From what I have found on the Internet,

here is an AMERICAN FLYER 4675 Image

Note that the AMERICAN FLYER 4675 does not have a Vanderbilt Tender.

I do not want a Vanderbilt Tender.

I like the Rectangular Tender.

Beautiful High Gloss Black with Brass Trim Details.

However, NOTE that there are NO Steps rising up from the Pilot Deck to the Boiler Running Boards.

Is this the same Engine as the MTH AMERICAN FLYER 4696 Locomotive ?

This locomotive HAS Steps rising up from the Pilot Deck to the Boiler Running Boards.

I want an ALL BLACK version ( with BRASS Trim ) of the MTH AMERICAN FLYER 4696 PIPER Steam Engine.

Can anyone explain the different Numbered Versions of the AMERICAN FLYER 4696

as I have found the AMERICAN FLYER numbers of

4694 , 4695 , 4696 , 4675

and a No. 4680 Steam Engine  4-4-2  with a No. 4671 Metal Tender.
