I just received word from Legacy Station in Atlanta that my MTH BR44 Jumbo with scale wheels has finally arrived. On order since November of last year I can't wait to see this beauty. I assume that other dealers will be receiving theirs also.

Have had mine for about two weeks. Lovely loco. They did a really good job.
What is the price???
Depends on your dealer I suppose; I paid $1,259.95 for the SNCF version:

My BR44 was $1295.00 when all was said and done. This is an impressive locomotive. I just saw a scale wheel 2 rail version for sale from a dealer on the internet. Can't remember which one but a Google search should turn it up.
Has anyone done a review on this Loco???
Finally bought one and am rather impressed. Well detailed and runs well, handles my four foot radius curves quite well. Still have to play with the sound and speed control but that will be part of the fun.

It handles 48" radius with a full set of flanges??? That's pretty impressive. Must have a short driver wheelbase. Nice looking locomotive. Every catalog has a European steam locomotive that catches my eye but my will power overrules the urge to buy one. Sooner or later...
