MTH CNS&M Electroliner query

While I wait for MTH to help me with broken trolley poles etc. and an instruction booklet (long story), I was on U tube watching MTH Electroliners running. I was really surprised to see that apparently the first run of these units actually had marker lamps on the end car. Am I correct on this? Too bad then, that my Proto 3 run does not have the markers. Too bad MTH dropped this nice feature.
