Does anyone know how MTH, Lionel and others ship their products from (mostly) China?  The last time I looked (meaning the last article I read in the SF Chronicle) there is still a big slowdown in handling container ships all up and down the left coast, with big impacts on LA/Long Beach and Oakland especially.  As far as I know the labor dispute hasn't been resolved and I believe the slowdown has been for several months at this point.  FWIW.

Don't know about anyone else, but the west coast slowdown added almost 2 months delay to American Models T&P sets.

As of Feb 14 there were forty container ships anchored out at sea off the coast of long beach CA. Each ship holds roughly 7500 40 foot containers. They have room at the port for 3 to 4 ships at a time and it takes 24 hrs or more to unload one ship. So basically 280000 containers waiting to be unloaded. And then factor in the shortage of drivers and availability of chassis for the containers. Etc etc
