There is supposed to be a plastic washer there to keep the spring from possibly touching the harness connector. Might be missing.
Yes, that just figures! Might be the problem that I blamed on my Weaver engine kept shorting out.
I'll have to re-assemble that Weaver and see if that was the issue.
Now it runs good. Doesn't short. BUT>..........Now Derails inside my tunnel!
Main drivers won't stay on the rails inside that tunnel?
Makes it around the whole layout just not that curve? That curve is wider than some of the others and smoother too?
It is a right turn in this direction when most all others are a left turn. Might be an issue? Seems like there's not enough travel in the main drivers.
I hate steam. Always have. Had a single HO steam engine in my youth that never stayed on the rails. Heavy clunker.
