Since the steam engines that pulled PRSL passenger trains between Philadelphia and Atlantic City were pretty much K4 Pacifics and E6 Atlantics, you're limited to the E6 since the K4's were all leased from the PRR and none ever wore the PRSL name.

I believe the Proto-2 model of the E6 was not offered in PRSL (from the 2003 Volume II catalog, the road names listed are PRR, LIRR, and B&O).  In the 2016 Volume I catalog, a Proto-3 PRSL model was offered, 20-3627-0 (Hi-Rail wheels) and 20-3627-2 (scale wheels).  However, I have no idea what the station stops are and I couldn't find anything in the catalog that gave this information.

The Philadelphia-Atlantic City trains were usually express runs.  Looking at a 1949 PRSL schedule, the stations were Broad Street Station, 30th Street Station, North Philadelphia, (Frankford Junction), (Haddonfield), (Hammonton), (Absecon-Pleasantville), Atlantic City.  After April 1952, the trains originated at 30th Street.  The stations in parentheses are ones that not all trains stopped at.  For example, #1001, the first train of the day, stopped at all four stations in Pennsylvania and then ran express to Atlantic City.

I hope this has been helpful and I wish you good luck with modeling the Atlantic City line.

By the way, although the PRR predecessor to the PRSL was the West Jersey & Seashore, there was no ampersand or "and" in the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines.

Hi, PGENTIEU

Your info was very helpful. Thank you!

I currently have a Proto2 K4 and E6 as well as a Proto3 K4.

I guess the best thing to do is download all of the sound sets for the PRSL locos and hope one of them has the stops Im looking for.

Do you by any chance know what passenger cars would typically be on that line behind a K4 or E6? Im thinking about ordering the new PRSL heavyweights that were in the new Lionel catalog.
