Hello everybody,

I would like to make my issue with the subject engine headlight staying on more clear and I apologize for my last blog probably being hard to understand.

I bought this PS2 engine new and from day one  a headlight on one side and two marker lights were burned out. A tech send me some bulbs and when I replaced them after taking the board out apparently I did not see the insulation part and when I started up the engine  I burned the board out. Only the small light board at the front of the engine was affected.

I sent the engine to a MTH Tech and he told me he had replaced the bulbs and board and everything was okay. When I got the engine back the headlight worked and a side markers worked but the headlight was very bright and it turned on immediately when I put power to the track and nothing else lighted up. When reversing the engine the headlight still stayed on. It would not go out. The tech advised that he had replace the light board and no other board. The main board was not touched.

I would like to know what the heck is going on and if there's anything I can do to fix it. Again the issue I have is the one headlight staying on and not going off. I hope I made this blog a little clearer then the last one.

Thank you very much, Jerry
